Christmas Cards
I love sending out Christmas messages to our friends and family. I especially like for them to look vintage (although this year I was lucky enough to find a set of unused vintage Christmas cards to use for part of them :)
I use old Christmas stickers and seals to adorn them. This year, I had one of my Christmas photographs made into Christmas stamps; you might recognize it! :)
The top photo is my Christmas cards waiting to be taken to the post office!

Rudolph was on network television tonight. It is my favorite "animated" Christmas special. I have watched it every year since I can remember, and I watched it again tonight. I have it on DVD as well, but there is something special about watching it, knowing so many others are enjoying it at the same time.

Rudolph with your nose so bright... won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
"It would be an honor"!!

Christmas in My Memory

This image, taken 'neath our living room tree this year, is what vintage Christmas memories feel like to me. Old-fashioned glass ornaments, multi-colored lights, and shimmering tinsel all over the tree. Of course, a sweet little doll awaits to be found on Christmas morn, and a present is wrapped in soft ribbons...... My very first (cottage) Christmas.... loooooove the wall color and the curtains! Oh, and look at that sweet little reindeer on top of the tv in the left of the photo!!

How I miss that old-fashioned Christmas
Memories that last through the years
Call me sentimental
Don't mind if you do
I wish an old-fashioned Christmas to you.....
